The new government has repealed the Svyrydenko Cabinet's decision regarding reservations
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has repealed the resolutions of the previous government, led by Yulia Svyrydenko, regarding the establishment of a Coordination Center for the Mobilization of Conscripts. The decision was made for several specific reasons.
Specifically, Serhiy Koretskyi’s government repealed the July 8 resolution titled “Certain Issues Regarding the Establishment of a Coordination Center for the Mobilization of Conscripts During Mobilization and Wartime.” It is worth noting that this resolution had not been made public.
It recently came to light that the aforementioned Coordination Center was intended to function as a temporary consultative and advisory body to the Cabinet of Ministers.
Among its key tasks were:
coordinating government agencies and finding solutions to problematic situations related to mobilization;
reviewing proposals from government agencies regarding the designation of enterprises, institutions, and organizations as critical to the economy and the public’s livelihood.
It is also stated that government agencies would be required to take the Coordination Center’s recommendations into account when making decisions regarding the critical importance of enterprises.
This proposal by Yulia Svyrydenko’s government immediately drew public attention and sparked lively debates regarding the advisability of such an advisory body.
It later became clear that, during the finalization of the aforementioned resolution, the lead drafter had not taken into account the comments from:
the Ministry of Energy;
the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
the Ministry of Justice;
the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development;
the Security Service of Ukraine.
Taking all these factors into account, Koretsky’s new government decided to repeal the resolution establishing the Coordination Center for the Mobilization of Conscripts.
This was announced by Oleksandr Fedienko, a member of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence, citing his Facebook post.

As a reminder, former Deputy Prime MinisterYulia Svyrydenko stated during a July 14 meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on State Building that the decision regarding her resignation was linked to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s intention to reshuffle the Cabinet of Ministers and strengthen certain areas of the government’s work.
Before the Verkhovna Rada voted on her resignation, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko presented a report on the government’s work and summarized the Cabinet of Ministers’ activities.
