The Pechersk Court has ordered the opening of another case against Maryana Bezuhla – Attorney Shevchuk

Attorney Oleksiy Shevchuk announced the opening of yet another criminal case against MP Maryana Bezuhla, following a ruling by the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv.

According to him, the new proceedings were initiated based on a complaint filed by MP Fedir Venislavskyi.

The court ruling, which the lawyer received, states that the investigating judge deems it necessary to grant the complaint, and that the Office of the Prosecutor General must enter information from the complaint, filed on Venislavsky’s behalf regarding the commission of a criminal offense, into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations.

In his video address, Shevchuk noted:

“I send my regards to Mariana Bezuhla. Today, the Pecherskyi District Court of the capital ordered the initiation of yet another criminal proceeding based on a complaint filed by MP Fedir Venislavskyi. I hope that this complaint will be consolidated with the already ongoing criminal proceedings against Maryana Bezuhla and for obstructing the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”

Details regarding the possible consolidation of the proceedings and the procedural status of the case have not yet been officially clarified by the parties.

Earlier, MPs Ustinova and Bezuhla had a public spat on social media. Ustinova called her colleague an animal over her post regarding the death of MP Yaroslav Ruschyshyn.

After that, Bezuhla accused Oleksandra Ustinova of having ties to the Office of the President and of hiding her husband from mobilization.
