More than 87,500 Ukrainian military personnel have undergone training as part of EUMAM Ukraine
More than 87,500 Ukrainian servicemen have undergone training as part of the EU Military Assistance Mission to Ukraine (EUMAM Ukraine) since 2022.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that the mission is a response to Ukraine’s request for support and provides individual, collective, and specialized training for military personnel.
The programs cover a wide range of areas, including tactical medicine, CBRN defense, demining, logistics, communications, tactical planning, and combat readiness.
The mission also coordinates the training efforts of EU member states and is open to participation by countries outside the European Union.
Funding is provided through the European Peace Facility, and the mission itself works closely with international partners.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated 9 settlements.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have repelled a large-scale offensive by Russian occupiers, recording a total of 158 combat engagements across the entire front line.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian Air Force has warned of increased activity by Russian drones.
