A scheme involving fake teachers to evade mobilization was uncovered in Lutsk
The Volyn Police have determined that officials at one of the lyceums were registering non-existent employees and using them to obtain illegal "reservations."
This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine on May 2.
Police determined that the fictitious employment scheme was primarily used to “reserve” men of draft age. By entering false data into the relevant government systems, they received deferrals from conscription during martial law.
In addition, the “employed” individuals received salaries and bonuses, a portion of which they handed over to the scheme’s organizers.
In reality, however, these individuals worked in various sectors—from retail to services—and had no connection whatsoever to the educational process.
According to preliminary data, this scheme caused losses to the state budget totaling over 3 million hryvnias, of which the pseudo-teachers transferred nearly 1 million hryvnias directly to the bank accounts of the individuals involved in the case.

As part of the criminal proceedings, police conducted 51 searches at the suspects’ homes and workplaces, including at the Department of Education.
We previously reported that a new criminal case had been opened against political strategist Petrov.
