The German Ambassador Has Concluded His Assignment in Ukraine
German Ambassador Heiko Toms has concluded his diplomatic mission in Kyiv and bid farewell to the Ukrainian people.
“Goodbye, dear Ukrainians! I am concluding my mission in Ukraine. But a large part of my heart will remain here forever,” he wrote on Facebook.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accepted the credentials of the new ambassadors from Oman, North Macedonia, the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, and France. During the meetings, he briefed the diplomats on the latest massive Russian shelling and discussed further cooperation with each country.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also signed a decree dismissing Olga Stefanishyna from her post as Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States.
Olga Stefanishyna stated that the decision to step down as Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States was her own initiative. She noted that she herself had decided to resign from her diplomatic post.
