The prosecutor revealed new details about the murder of the Moseychuk brothers: it wasn't Luchanov who fired the shots
During the court hearing, Serhiy Mirzoyan, a prosecutor with the Bila Tserkva Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Defense Matters, stated that the direct perpetrator of the murders of brothers Maksym and Roman Moseychuk was not Stanislav Luchanov, the former commander of the 155th Brigade, but rather his subordinate—battalion commander Oleksiy Dolgolenko.
According to the prosecution, a group of soldiers abducted the brothers, using force against them, tying their hands and feet, and blindfolding them. They were then taken to the military unit’s base, where they were illegally detained until July 1.
The prosecutor alleges that Luchanov later ordered the brothers’ killing to cover up the abduction. According to the investigation, Dolgolenko took the men one by one to a training ground near Poltava, where he shot them. Afterward, the bodies were buried in a pre-dug grave.
Currently, these circumstances constitute the prosecution’s case and are being considered by the court.
