The High Council of Justice recommended appointing Ruslana Pivovarova as a judge of the Second Administrative Court of Appeal
The High Council of Justice has decided to submit a proposal to the President of Ukraine to appoint Ruslana Pivovarova as a judge of the Second Administrative Court of Appeal.
Pyvovarova graduated from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy in 2012 and has over seven years of experience as an attorney. Based on the results of her qualification assessment, she scored 729.2 points. The commission found the candidate to be competent, of good character, and proficient in the official language at the required level.
During the review of her candidacy, the High Council of Justice also took into account the observations of the Public Integrity Council. These observations concerned the purchase of an apartment in Kharkiv in 2015, her declared cash savings, and the rental of housing in Kyiv.
Pivovarova explained that her parents had purchased the apartment using their own official savings, accumulated over several years. She attributed the cash holdings to the conversion of income into foreign currency prior to the full-scale invasion, and the absence of a lease agreement for the apartment in Kyiv to the landlords’ refusal to formalize the documents.
After reviewing her explanations, the High Council of Justice endorsed Ruslana Pivovarova’s candidacy and decided to submit a proposal to the president for her appointment as a judge of the Second Administrative Court of Appeal.
