A prosecutor from the Lviv region was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 3rd Class
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded Volodymyr Marmulyak, a prosecutor with the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office and a major in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 3rd Class. The head of state signed the corresponding decree on July 31, 2026.
Volodymyr Marmulyak received the state award for the courage he demonstrated in defending Ukraine’s state sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for his dedicated fulfillment of his military duty.
The prosecutor’s office noted that Marmulyak has been working in the prosecutor’s office since 2013. After Russia launched its full-scale invasion on February 28, 2022, he voluntarily enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Vladimir Marmulyak is currently serving with the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade named after General Myron Tarnavsky, where he continues to defend Ukraine.

As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded Lieutenant General Curtis Bazzard of the U.S. Armed Forces, commander of the NATO Special Mission for Security Assistance and Training in Ukraine and the Ukraine Security Assistance Group.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored 472 military personnel, police officers, rescue workers, and border guards with state awards, 172 of whom were awarded posthumously.
