The Orlivka border crossing on the border with Romania has resumed operations following a Russian attack
The “Orlivka” international ferry crossing, located on the Ukrainian-Romanian border, has resumed operations following a Russian attack. The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine stated that border crossing operations are currently proceeding as usual.
Romanian border guards were also notified of the facility’s resumption of operations.

On the night of September 1, Russian forces attacked the “Orlivka” international ferry crossing on the Ukrainian-Romanian border with Shahed strike drones.
Russia is attempting to use attacks on Ukrainian border crossing points with EU countries to create the desired narrative for its own audience. The Center for Countering Disinformation stated that Moscow is exaggerating the extent of the damage, and that most checkpoints are able to resume operations fairly quickly after the attacks.
