The SBU has filed a case against Moscow-based propagandist Boris Korchevnikov

The Security Service of Ukraine has completed its pre-trial investigation and filed an indictment against Moscow-based propagandist Boris Korchevnikov, who publicly supports Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.

The sanctioned individual is the head of the pro-Kremlin TV channel “Spas” and a host of media projects in the aggressor country. This was reported by the SBU’s Telegram channel.

The investigation established that the head of the TV channel regularly uses media outlets under his control to support Russia’s full-scale invasion, justifies war crimes against the civilian population, and calls for the seizure of Ukrainian territory. In addition, during 2022–2023, the former actor from the series “Cadets” repeatedly visited the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to participate in the Kremlin’s propaganda events in support of the occupation administrations.

Korchevnikov is charged under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, covering violations of territorial integrity, justification of armed aggression, and illegal crossing of the state border. Since the defendant is currently in the Russian Federation, measures are being taken to bring him to justice under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General.

The Kyiv police have referred the case of a propagandist advocating for the restoration of the USSR to court.

Poland has barred Russian propagandist Artemiy Lebedev from entering the Schengen Area.
