The SBU and the National Police have disrupted seven schemes used by draft dodgers and detained 10 organizers
The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police have disrupted seven new schemes to evade military service and mobilization, detaining 10 organizers in various regions. All suspects have already been notified of the charges against them.
In the Odesa region, military counterintelligence exposed two employees of the district military registration and enlistment office, one of whom entered false data into the “Oberig” system for 3,500 U.S. dollars, while the other promised to “remove” clients from the registry in exchange for money. In Donetsk Oblast, a city council member and the chair of the medical advisory commission facilitated the issuance of a fraudulent disability certificate in exchange for 7,000 U.S. dollars to secure a deferment.
In the Poltava region, an official at the regional Military Registration and Enlistment Office accepted bribes to forge medical records in order to transfer conscripts to “rear” positions without sending them to the front lines. In addition, in the Cherkasy region, the activities of five administrators of messaging app communities were blocked; they had been disseminating information about the routes taken by mobile units of the Territorial Recruitment Center and law enforcement officers.

Earlier in Kyiv, a 24-year-old law student was detained for offering men the opportunity to fictitiously “enroll” as students at a Polish university for $10,000 in order to travel abroad.
In Poland, two teachers from Odesa were detained who had attempted to purchase a batch of diplomas from a Warsaw university.
