The sister of the main suspect in the Carthage case is implicated in a hit-and-run involving a chicken producer in the Cherkasy region

The sister of the main suspect in the Carthage case is implicated in a hit-and-run involving a chicken producer in the Cherkasy region

Viktoria Didych, the dismissed head of a department at the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor’s Office and the sister of Serhiy Kropiva, — the main suspect in the NABU “Carthage” investigation — was involved in a “crackdown” on a chicken producer in the Cherkasy region.

Under her leadership, a criminal investigation was conducted against “OMEGA THREE” LLC. For some reason, the investigation was initiated on the grounds of soil contamination that occurred even before the company was established.

The investigation into a minor offense (essentially an administrative violation) was turned into a coordinated attack on the company. Numerous searches were conducted at the homes of the owners and employees and on company premises, documents were seized, and vehicles were impounded. At the same time, the regional branch of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection decided to suspend the manufacturer’s operations and filed a lawsuit seeking to ban its activities.

The manufacturer claims it has not committed any serious violations that caused harm. The young company opened two factories in the Chernihiv and Cherkasy regions in the spring of 2022, when Russian troops were still near Kyiv, having invested 120 million hryvnias. Currently, about 300 people work at the production facilities. Since the war began, the company has paid approximately 70 million in taxes. In 2026, it built modern water treatment facilities for 12 million hryvnias.

Tomorrow, September 30, the Cherkasy District Administrative Court will hear Case No. 580/9753/26, based on a lawsuit filed by the Main Directorate of the State Food and Consumer Service in Cherkasy Oblast against OMEGA THREE LLC. The hearing is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., and Judge Larisa Trofimova will preside over the case. By a strange coincidence, the court hearing is scheduled to take place in closed session, without summoning the parties, and under a simplified procedure.

Given that this concerns the same case involving “OMEGA THREE” LLC, as well as the aforementioned connection between Viktoria Didych and Serhiy Kropiva, the question arises: Could Judge Larisa Trofimova—or anyone associated with her—have any connection to the individuals implicated in the NABU “Carthage” investigation? The court hearing on September 30 and information about possible connections may provide an answer to this question.

As a reminder, Kropiva’s driver was released from pretrial detention on bail of 3 million hryvnias in the “Carthage” case.

A prosecutor from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) denied that Kropiva was on a business trip to Lviv.

Prosecutor Kropiva, a suspect in the NABU “Carthage” investigation, secured a pension of 300,000 at the age of 42 through the courts.
