Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga began his official visit to France with a meeting with OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann.
During the talks, the parties discussed the development of cooperation between Ukraine and the organization, as well as further deepening of collaboration.
Sybiga noted that Ukraine aims to obtain OECD candidate status as early as this year and is ready to move on to the next stage of integration.
The parties also exchanged views on key international events, particularly the situation in the Middle East and its impact on global security and the economy.
Separately, they discussed the opening of an OECD office in Ukraine, which is intended to strengthen regional cooperation.
During the meeting, Sibiga presented Matias Korman with the Order of Merit on behalf of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
