Forecasters have issued a frost warning for one of Ukraine's regions
The Lviv Regional Center for Hydrometeorology has issued a warning about a significant drop in temperature across the region.
Over the next few days, from May 13 to 15, 2026, residents of the region should expect nighttime frosts, which could damage crops.
According to weather forecasts, nighttime temperatures at the soil surface—and in some places in the air—will drop to 0–2°C.
In this regard, a Level I hazard warning (yellow) has been issued throughout the Lviv region, indicating a potential threat to vegetation and the need to take protective measures.
Experts advise taking steps in advance to protect heat-loving crops that have already been planted in open ground.
Such temperature fluctuations can negatively affect the future harvest, so it is recommended to use covering materials or smoke-screening methods to mitigate the impact of low temperatures.
On May 13, the weather in Kyiv will take a sharp turn for the worse
