Forecasters are predicting rain showers with thunderstorms and summer-like warmth on May 18
A change in weather conditions is expected in many regions of the country early this week, bringing moderate precipitation and occasional thunderstorms amid relatively high temperatures. Despite the wet weather, the air masses will remain warm, ensuring comfortable daytime temperatures.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center on Facebook.

According to the official forecast from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, dry weather will persist throughout the day only in most eastern regions, as well as at night in the west of the country, while the rest of the territory will be covered by rain clouds.
During the night and morning hours, drivers should be especially careful due to local fog, which will reduce visibility on roads in the east, southeast, Zakarpattia, and the Carpathian region. The wind will blow from the northwest at moderate speeds. Overnight temperatures will range from 9 to 14 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will reach 18–23 degrees, with residents of the eastern regions experiencing the warmest conditions. In the capital and surrounding areas of Kyiv Oblast, there will also be brief showers, which at night will occasionally be accompanied by thunderstorms; however, during the day, the air in Kyiv will warm up to a comfortable 21 degrees.
