Forecasters are predicting heavy rain in nine regions of Ukraine
On Saturday, September 12, significant precipitation is expected in certain regions of Ukraine. A Level 1 (yellow) hazard warning has been issued due to the inclement weather. Heavy rains may disrupt traffic and affect the operations of utility and energy companies.
Overnight, significant precipitation is forecast for the Lviv, Volyn, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, and Vinnytsia regions. During the day, the inclement weather will move to the Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has warned that these weather conditions could disrupt the operations of energy, construction, and utility companies, as well as traffic.
