The dollar and the euro continued to rise at the start of the new week. At currency exchange offices, the U.S. dollar has already nearly reached the 45-hryvnia mark, while the exchange rate at banks remains slightly higher. Here’s how much the dollar and the euro are worth today and where it’s more advantageous to buy foreign currency.

 

On Monday, July 27, the dollar exchange rate at Ukrainian banks and currency exchange offices continued to rise. The U.S. dollar has almost reached the psychological threshold of 45 hryvnias, and the euro has also gained a few kopecks. 

What are the rates at currency exchange offices?

As of this morning, the average selling rate for the dollar at currency exchange offices is 44.88 UAH, which is three kopecks higher than the previous day. You can sell dollars for an average of 44.76 UAH, which is one kopeck lower than the previous rate. The euro has also risen slightly in value. You can buy the European currency for an average of 51.39 UAH and sell it for 51.18 UAH.

What are the exchange rates at banks?

At banks, the average selling rate for the dollar is 45.05 UAH. They are buying the U.S. currency at an average of 44.52 UAH. European banks are selling at 51.39 UAH and buying at 50.76 UAH. Overall, the changes remain minor, but the exchange rate continues to rise gradually.

Exchange rates at the largest banks

At PrivatBank, the dollar is sold at teller windows for 44.99 UAH and via card payments for 45.04 UAH. The euro can be purchased at branches for 51.50 UAH, while the card exchange rate is 51.54 UAH. At Oschadbank, the dollar is sold via the mobile app for 44.99 UAH, while the card rate is 45.10 UAH. The euro costs 51.40 UAH in the app and 51.55 UAH when paying by card.

At PUMB, the dollar is sold for 45.20 UAH in cash, and the card rate is 45 UAH. The euro can be purchased at bank branches for 51.70 UAH. At Monobank, the dollar is sold for 45.03 UAH, and the euro for 51.53 UAH.

How much will it cost to buy 100 dollars?

If you buy 100 U.S. dollars today, depending on the bank, you’ll have to pay:

The U.S. dollar is most expensive at PUMB teller windows, where the rate stands at 45.20 UAH. The euro is also continuing its upward trend.
