How much will an Easter basket cost in 2026: the numbers
The cost of an Easter basket for Ukrainians in 2026 will start at a minimum of 1,200 hryvnias.
These estimates were released by the Silpo supermarket chain.
The company assessed several options for filling the basket as of March 18.
The basic set (starting at 1,200 UAH) includes:
— Easter cake (300 g) — 89.99 UAH;
— Easter cake topping — 54.99 UAH;
— sprinkles, Cahors wine;
— 400 g each of smoked pork, sausage, cheese, and brynza;
— 10 eggs, 125 g of horseradish, 180 g of butter, and 1 kg of salt.
The deluxe version costs from 2,300 UAH. It includes:
— panettone (400 g) — 279 UAH;
— ham (400 g), sausages (800 g);
— Gouda cheese (400 g), brynza (400 g);
— eggs, butter, salt, horseradish;
— beverages: wine (299 UAH) and kvass (69.99 UAH).
The craft basket will cost at least 4,660 UAH. It includes:
— mango panettone — 999 UAH;
— select cheeses, balyk, smoked pork, several types of sausages;
— organic eggs — 111 UAH;
— butter — 169 UAH, sea salt — 34.49 UAH, horseradish — 25.49 UAH;
— beverages: port wine (599 UAH) and kvass.
Thus, the price of an Easter basket varies significantly depending on its contents—from basic to premium.
