The court set Tishchenko's bail at 10 million hryvnia

The High Anti-Corruption Court imposed a bail of 10 million hryvnias on People's Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko.

The court also imposed a number of obligations on the MP: to appear when summoned by the court, not to leave Kyiv without permission, to surrender his passport, and to wear an electronic ankle monitor.

Tyshchenko himself stated that he does not admit to the charges, calling them unfounded and politically motivated. According to him, the case is allegedly fabricated.

Prosecutors requested that the lawmaker be remanded in custody with the possibility of bail set at over 19 million hryvnias, while the defense insisted on a less severe preventive measure. Several members of parliament expressed their willingness to vouch for Tishchenko.

According to the NABU and the SAP, in 2023, Tishchenko demanded $1 million to “resolve the issue” regarding the operations of call centers. He is charged with extorting an unlawful benefit, money laundering, and providing false information in his financial disclosure statement.

MP Mykola Tyshchenko appeared in the Verkhovna Rada after his pretrial restriction was eased. He is accused of unlawfully depriving a person of their liberty.

In October, the Shevchenkivskyi District Court held a hearing in the case of MP Mykola Tyshchenko and former police officer Bohdan Pysarenko. They are accused of unlawfully depriving Dmytro Mazokha, a former member of the “Kraken” special forces unit, of his liberty.
