The court refused to reduce the bail once again for Tetyana Krupa, a former employee of the Khmelnytskyi Medical and Social Examination Commission
The High Anti-Corruption Court denied the defense’s motion and upheld the pretrial condition in the form of bail set at 20 million hryvnias (approximately 482,000 U.S. dollars) for the former head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Center for Medical and Social Examination. Initially, she was ordered to post 500 million hryvnias in bail, but the courts subsequently reduced this amount several times.
The defense attorneys requested a reduction in the bail amount, but the court rejected this request. Previously, the High Anti-Corruption Court extended the defendant’s procedural obligations through December 5, 2026.
This was reported by the High Anti-Corruption Court.
Tetyana Krupa and her son Oleksandr were involved in forging disability certificates for men who were trying to avoid military service. That is how they enriched themselves. When law enforcement officers arrived to conduct a search, the woman attempted to throw two bags containing half a million dollars out the window, but she was unable to do so.
Earlier, the High Anti-Corruption Court denied a motion filed by the lawyers of the family of Tetyana Krupa, the former head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Medical and Social Examination Commission (MSEK), to recuse Judge Denys Kovalenko, who had been assigned to hear the high-profile case. The defense team lodged a complaint against Judge Kovalenko, alleging that he had restricted their procedural rights.
As a reminder, Tetyana Krupa, the former head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise, who is suspected of illicit enrichment, filed her 2025 financial disclosure statement. Despite being under investigation and the high-profile nature of the case, the document shows a further increase in her family’s wealth.
Krupa is free to move about the country—the court extended her release on bail for two months.
