Why prices at petrol stations are changing
Fuel prices in Ukraine have increased against the backdrop of the war in the Middle East. The main reasons include fluctuations in global oil prices, geopolitical risks, and currency movements. The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has explained that prices for refined petroleum products are not subject to state regulation. The Ukrainian market for light petroleum products is fully dependent on imports, so global price fluctuations directly affect fuel costs for consumers. The rise in fuel prices is a Europe-wide trend and is not limited to Ukraine. At the same time, the Antimonopoly Committee will review the situation on the market.
