The Central Election Commission has approved new members of parliament to replace those appointed to the Cabinet of Ministers
The Central Election Commission has certified Bohdan Morklyanik and Viktoria Reznikova as elected members of the Ukrainian Parliament. They will take their seats in the Verkhovna Rada on the “Servant of the People” party list (under No. 163 and No. 165, respectively).
These new additions to the parliamentary faction occurred following the early termination of the parliamentary mandates of Denys Maslov and Vitaliy Bezgin, who resigned their seats voluntarily. To complete the registration process, the newly elected deputies must submit the required set of documents to the Central Election Commission within 20 days.
This was stated in a Facebook post by the CEC.
As previously reported, the Verkhovna Rada prematurely terminated the mandates of MPs Maslov and Bezgin and appointed them, respectively, as Minister of Justice and Minister of Communities, Territories, and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine.
