In Kalush, water will be supplied on a scheduled basis due to the river's low water level

In Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, water supply restrictions have been imposed due to low water levels in the Chechva River.

From now on, water will be shut off for all consumers at night—from 11:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Residents have been urged to stock up on water in advance.

This decision was made to ensure the rational use of water resources.

The Chechva is a tributary of the Limnytsia River, whose basin serves as the water source for Kalush. The river originates in the Gorgany Mountains and flows into the Limnytsia near Piyla and Dovhe-Kaluske.

The Danube has reached record-low levels and turned into a network of sandbars.

As a reminder, the Cabinet of Ministers has allocated nearly 50 million hryvnias to protect Izmail from flooding.
