In Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained two teenagers who, according to the investigation, brutally beat a passerby after he made a remark to them. At the time of the attack, the minors were intoxicated.
According to law enforcement, the teenagers continued to kick the man even after he had fallen to the ground.
According to law enforcement, a man recently reported to them that he had been beaten by two young men in the Podilskyi district. Police arrived at the scene within minutes and immediately detained the suspects at the crime scene.
It was established that two 16-year-old boys were drinking alcohol in the courtyard of the building where the victim lives. The 51-year-old man approached the teenagers and reprimanded them. The group initially ignored him and continued to hang out.
“When the victim began to insist, one of the youths punched the Kyiv resident in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. After that, his friend joined in the beating. The attackers continued to punch and kick the man while he was on the ground, striking him in the head, abdomen, and chest. The man was hospitalized. He sustained serious bodily injuries, including a traumatic brain injury, fractures, and injuries to his chest and internal organs,” the press service added.


This was reported by the press service of the capital’s police. The suspects face up to 10 years in prison.
