In Kyiv, passersby tried to "pull" a man away from the TCC, but the police drew their weapons

In Kyiv, a group of bystanders attempted to prevent the detention of two men subject to military conscription by representatives of the Territorial Recruitment Center, forcing patrol officers to draw their service weapons.

This was reported by the Kyiv Patrol Police.

The incident occurred in the Obolon district on Lvivska Street. According to law enforcement officials, while on a joint patrol with the Military Registration and Enlistment Office (MREO), police officers noticed two men who were trying to avoid a check.

While investigating the circumstances, it was determined that one of them had violated military registration regulations. He attempted to flee, while his acquaintance actively resisted and tried to inflict bodily harm on law enforcement officers and military personnel.

Both men were detained using handcuffs. Subsequently, a crowd gathered near the scene and began to intervene: people behaved aggressively, grabbed law enforcement officers and military personnel by their clothing, and attempted to obstruct their actions.

In response, the patrol officers readied their service firearms and warned of the possibility of using them in accordance with the law.

After the warning, the situation was stabilized—the crowd dispersed, and there was no need to use the weapons. The detainees were taken to the district recruitment center, where administrative reports were filed against them.

As a reminder, on the evening of April 30, a 68-year-old resident of Bila Tserkva threw an RGD-5 combat grenade over the fence of the district territorial recruitment center, where it detonated. No one was injured in the explosion, and no damage to the building or property was reported.

In Kharkiv, an explosion occurred near a supermarket, after which law enforcement officers detained a 32-year-old man suspected of detonating the grenade.

Serhiy Tkachenko, an inspector with the Tactical and Operational Response Company, detained a man who threatened to use a grenade in Dnipro.
