A new temperature record was set in Lviv
On Monday, June 29, a new temperature record for this day was set in Lviv—the reading significantly exceeded the previous record, which was recorded more than 60 years ago.
According to meteorologists, the maximum air temperature at the weather station in Lviv reached +37.4°C.
The previous record for this day was set in June 1963, when the temperature was +32.9°C.
Thus, the historical high was exceeded by more than 4 degrees, confirming the exceptional nature of the current heatwave.
This was reported by the Lviv Regional Center for Hydrometeorology.
