In July, Ukrainians will continue to pay for gas at the current annual rates. For most consumers, the price will remain unchanged, and monthly commercial offers from some suppliers have even become cheaper than in June.
Natural gas suppliers have announced their rates for residential consumers for July. Annual prices remain unchanged, ranging from 7.96 to 9.99 hryvnia per cubic meter. At the same time, monthly commercial rates have decreased compared to June and now range from 8.46 to 27.99 hryvnia per cubic meter. Currently, there are eight companies operating in the Ukrainian market that supply gas to households. Four of them offer only annual fixed rates, while the other four offer both annual and monthly market-based rates. The annual rate remains the primary option for residential consumers. If a customer wishes to switch to a monthly rate, they must do so on their own. Suppliers are not permitted to automatically switch customers to more expensive or other commercial offers.
Naftogaz of Ukraine remains the largest gas supplier in Ukraine. The company serves about 98% of residential consumers, which amounts to more than 12 million households. For its customers, the “Fixed” rate remains at 7.96 hryvnia per cubic meter and will remain in effect until at least April 30, 2027. Here are the rates that will apply in July:
Naftogaz of Ukraine Group — 7.96 UAH/cubic meter (annual rate);
“Ternopiloblgaz Zbut” — 7.96 UAH/cubic meter (annual);
“Prykarpat Energo Trade” — 7.98 UAH/cubic meter (annual);
“OKKO Contract” (“Galnaftogaz”) — 7.99 UAH/cubic meter (annual);
“Lvivenergozbut” — 8.20 UAH/cubic meter (annual) and 27.40 UAH/cubic meter (monthly);
YASNO (“Kyiv Energy Services”) — 8.46 UAH/cubic meter (annual and monthly);
YASNO (“Dnipro Energy Services”) — 8.46 UAH/cubic meter (annual and monthly);
“SvitloGaz” (“Retail Service”) — 9.99 UAH/cubic meter (annual) and 27.99 UAH/cubic meter (monthly).
Thus, the lowest annual rate for residential customers in July is 7.96 hryvnia per cubic meter, and the highest is 9.99 hryvnia. As for monthly commercial offers, they vary significantly depending on the supplier. The minimum price is 8.46 hryvnia per cubic meter, while the maximum reaches 27.99 hryvnia.
Experts note that most Ukrainians continue to be on annual rate plans. These plans guarantee a fixed price and protect consumers from seasonal fluctuations in gas prices. This information comes from GazPravda.
