A shooting occurred in Mykolaiv: two foreigners were killed
In Mykolaiv, law enforcement officials are investigating the circumstances of a shooting that took place on Heroes of Ukraine Avenue on June 30. Two people were killed in the incident; according to preliminary reports, they were foreign nationals.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred while an Opel was in motion—several shots were fired inside the vehicle, after which the out-of-control car drove into a controlled intersection.
According to preliminary findings from the investigation, three foreign nationals were in the car. As a result of the shooting, two passengers sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. Police promptly detained the third person involved in the incident. Experts seized a firearm from the interior of the Opel.
Investigators, forensic experts, and operatives are conducting an investigation to determine the motives and all circumstances of the incident. The final legal classification of the criminal case is currently being determined, according to the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional Police.
