UA NEWS 12 June 2026 12:19
Power outages have occurred in five regions of Ukraine

As of June 12, due to hostilities and shelling of energy infrastructure, some consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions are temporarily without power. Utility workers are working to restore power.

It is noted that energy workers are working around the clock to restore power to all customers as quickly as possible, and restoration work is ongoing 24 hours a day.

Regarding the application of restrictions

The Ministry of Energy noted that no restrictions are expected on June 12. Please check the official websites of your regional power companies for any updates regarding power supply.

The ministry urged consumers to use electricity sparingly during peak consumption hours in the morning and evening. This helps reduce the load on the system.

Uninterrupted power until fall

The summer of 2026 in Ukraine will be marked by energy balancing: despite more optimistic forecasts, experts do not rule out the return of power outage schedules.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

Due to Russian attacks, consumers in six regions remain without power.

On the morning of June 9, Russian troops struck a vehicle delivering bread to residents of the border town of Semenivka in the Chernihiv region with an FPV drone. The 55-year-old driver was injured in the attack. The man is receiving necessary medical care.

The head of the Regional Military Administration added that there were renewed strikes on energy infrastructure. Energy workers are working to restore power supply.
