In Poland, Russian intelligence agencies planned to kill the rapper Kyivstoner

Ukrainian rapper and blogger Kyivstoner, whose real name is Albert Vasilyev, may have been targeted by a Russian hitman hired by Russian intelligence agencies to carry out an assassination in Poland.

According to media reports, the assassination attempt was planned while the artist was in Poland. The alleged perpetrator was detained by Polish law enforcement.

Russian intelligence agencies accused Kyivstoner of allegedly coordinating the delivery of drones to the Moscow region. According to the FSB, the drones were to be used for attacks on strategic targets in Moscow and its environs. The rapper himself denies these allegations.

Kyivstoner gained popularity thanks to his humorous videos; he was one of the founders of the band “Griby” and later launched a solo career. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he publicly condemned Russian aggression.

The artist currently lives with his family in Slovakia, where he continues his musical career and is involved in esports.
