An elderly woman died in Rivne after falling from the second floor
In Rivne, an 84-year-old local woman fell from a second-floor window while cleaning.
Despite prompt hospitalization and the efforts of medical staff, the pensioner’s life could not be saved—she died in the hospital from her injuries.
According to preliminary information from law enforcement, the incident occurred on March 31 at around 11 a.m.
The woman was washing windows in her own apartment when she suddenly felt unwell. Due to sudden dizziness, the Rivne resident lost her balance and fell out of the window.
Neighbors witnessed the fall and immediately called an emergency medical team to the scene.
The victim was quickly transported to the intensive care unit, where she remained conscious for some time, but a few hours later, her heart stopped.
“According to law enforcement officials, the tragedy occurred on March 31 around 11 a.m. At the time, the woman was washing windows in her own apartment when she suddenly felt ill. As a result, the Rivne resident fell from the second floor,” the Rivne Regional Police Press Service reported.
