Journalists from "Schemes" have uncovered luxury real estate in France and Switzerland linked to sanctioned businessman Kostyantyn Hryhoryshyn, who is wanted in Ukraine in connection with a case involving alleged embezzlement.

According to the investigation, Hryhoryshyn is the beneficiary of the Luxembourg-based company Cressida, which owns three plots of land and two chalets in the elite French resort of Courchevel.

The total area of the chalets exceeds 850 square meters.

The value of the property registered to Cressida is estimated at approximately 70 million euros.

Journalists note that Grigoryishin’s connection to this company can be traced back to at least 2008.

In addition, investigators identified a villa near Lake Geneva in Switzerland, which the businessman listed as his residential address in documents from the Luxembourg registry.

The 415-square-meter property is formally registered to a Swiss citizen, but Grigorishin appears in the documents as the person who applied for its renovation.

“Schemes” reached out to the businessman asking him to explain the sources of funds for the villa’s renovation and to comment on the criminal proceedings against him.

Previously, Hryhoryshyn referred to the NSDC sanctions as “extrajudicial pressure” and attempted to challenge them through his lawyers.

In the spring of 2026, the SBU and the BEB announced the exposure of a large-scale embezzlement scheme in the energy sector, in which, according to the investigation, entities linked to the businessman may be involved.

Prior to this, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court denied the MP’s appeal against the investigating judge’s decision to formally charge her. The court found the prosecution’s evidence in the case of alleged bribery of parliamentarians to be well-founded and upheld the ruling of the court of first instance.

NABU and the SAPO have completed their investigation into the case involving an alleged bribe offer to MPs by Yulia Tymoshenko, leader of the BYuT, and have made the case materials available to the defense prior to the trial. The MP herself did not appear for the review.

As a reminder, the court lifted the seizure of some of Yulia Tymoshenko’s and her husband’s property.
