In the case involving the "Dynasty" cottage community, allegations have been made regarding the possible use of sand from a cemetery
New details have emerged in the investigation into the “Dynasty” cottage community in Kozin. Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that sand allegedly mined illegally at a cemetery in the town of Ukrainka, Kyiv Oblast, may have been brought to the construction site. The case is being investigated by NABU and the SAPO in connection with the laundering of over 460 million hryvnias.
The MP wrote about this on Telegram.
“As is known, at the start of construction in June 2021, the ‘Dynasty’ cooperative was blessed by a priest… And just a year later, sand was brought to this plot of land, which, according to the author, was stolen from a cemetery in Ukrainka. Later, the culprits were allegedly exposed. If these people did this for their own housing, one can imagine how they run the country,” Zheleznyak wrote.
According to court records, this refers to criminal case No. 372/1947/22 regarding the illegal extraction of mineral resources. The documents indicate that the sand extracted from the cemetery in Ukrainka may have been transported to a plot of land in Kozin with cadastral number 3223155400:04:006:0088.
According to the registries, this very plot belongs to Bloom Development LLC, which was previously involved in the development of the “Dynasty” housing cooperative.
During the searches, law enforcement officers documented piles of sand on the site totaling over 726 cubic meters. Logbooks recording the entry and exit of freight vehicles were also seized. Court documents note that a forensic soil analysis has been ordered to determine the origin of the sand.
Zheleznyak also stated that the seized sand remains under seizure.
“I’m sorry, but that’s not all. The sand on this site was not only allegedly stolen from a cemetery but remains under seizure. It must be returned to the ‘Funeral Service of the Ukrainian City Council.’ This is such a telling story that further comments are unnecessary,” the deputy wrote.
In addition, he ironically commented on personnel decisions surrounding the municipal enterprise:
“On the other hand, it’s finally clear why they hired Petrov at the cemetery—‘cashback’ for the sand for ‘Dynasty,’ so to speak,” Zheleznyak added.

Prior to this, an investigation was published showing that the Office of the President is spending exorbitant amounts of state funds on the TV business. In 2025, the Office of the President allocated 800 million UAH for the “Unified Marathon” and another 184 million UAH for the “We Are Ukraine” channel.
The “We Are Ukraine” channel, which receives state support for producing content for the Unified Telethon, has faced financial difficulties. Laid-off employees claim that the salaries of those who remained on the job were cut by 20%. As a result, mass layoffs are taking place at the channel, and part of the staff is in limbo regarding their future employment.
