A man in Sumy will stand trial for shooting at teenagers
An indictment has been filed against a man who fired at teenagers in Sumy from a high-rise building. Several minors were injured in the incident. He is charged with attempted murder.
This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
“The head of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, Oleksandr Panchenko, approved and sent to court an indictment against a 60-year-old resident of Sumy who opened fire on a group of teenagers from the window of his own apartment,” the statement reads.
It is noted that the defendant’s actions are classified as attempted murder of six children out of hooliganism.
