In Sumy, an art school teacher was sentenced to 10 years in prison for molesting seven-year-old girls

The Kovpakivsky District Court of Sumy has sentenced a 60-year-old teacher of the Sumy Lysenko Children's Art School to 10 years in prison for molesting his students under the guise of art lessons. Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko confirmed that the crime occurred in 2015-2016, when the teacher was conducting individual lessons. The teacher's unacceptable actions were discovered after the children told their parents about them.

During the trial, it became known that the teacher committed indecent acts with the girls, expressing his sexual instincts and creating situations of irresponsibility. Psychologists who worked with the victims confirmed that the trauma they experienced caused significant damage to their mental health.
