In Vinnytsia, a car struck a child on a scooter; the boy was taken to the hospital
A traffic accident occurred at a shopping center in Vinnytsia. According to preliminary reports, a 45-year-old driver of a Ford struck a 10-year-old boy who was crossing a crosswalk on an electric scooter. The child was hospitalized.
This was reported with reference to the Main Directorate of the National Police in Vinnytsia Oblast.
“On May 3, at approximately 5:35 p.m. in Vinnytsia, on the grounds of a shopping center on Batozka Street, a 45-year-old driver of a Ford struck a 10-year-old boy who was crossing a pedestrian crossing on an electric scooter. As a result of the accident, the child sustained injuries and was hospitalized," the statement reads.
Police emphasize that the driver was sober.
In the Cherkasy region, military personnel from the Territorial Defense Forces and a civilian were killed in an accident.
As a reminder, in the Cherkasy region, three people were killed and two others were injured as a result of a collision between two cars. The injured were hospitalized, and the police are investigating the causes of the accident.
