Authorities in Vinnytsia are investigating a conflict between teenagers that resulted in injuries to a girl
In Vinnytsia, police have opened a criminal investigation following an incident between schoolchildren that resulted in injuries to a 13-year-old girl. The case is being investigated as intentional infliction of minor bodily harm, and all parties involved have already been identified. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Vinnytsia Oblast.
According to the Vinnytsia Regional Police, the complaint was filed by the mother of the injured girl, who reported a conflict with her classmates. The child herself claims that she sustained injuries during this altercation, after which she was hospitalized but was later discharged from the hospital.
“A report regarding bodily harm inflicted on a 13-year-old girl was filed by her mother. According to the child, she sustained the injuries from her classmates,” the official police statement reads. Following the incident, investigators interviewed all participants and witnesses to the event and referred the victim for a forensic medical examination to determine the extent of her injuries.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 1 of Article 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for liability for intentional minor bodily injury. The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement officials are establishing the full circumstances of the conflict and the role of each participant.
