Yellow and red danger levels have been added to the Air Raid Alert app
The "Air Raid Alert" app has introduced yellow and red threat levels. This new feature is designed to help users better assess the nature of a threat and respond more quickly to changes in the security situation.
From now on, alerts and the alert map clearly distinguish between different threats:
• yellow — drone threat;
• red — massive drone, missile, or missile-and-drone threat.
The information is updated in real time. Data is provided by the nationwide centralized alert system, as well as by civil protection duty officers at regional state administrations. Coordination is provided by the State Emergency Service (SES) duty officers.
To receive differentiated alerts, update the app to version 7.2.0, which is now available for iOS and Android.
When a yellow-level air threat is declared, students and school staff must leave their classrooms and proceed to shelters. Classes cannot continue as usual during this time.
Ukraine has changed its air threat alert system. Instead of a single signal for various types of attacks, two levels have been introduced: yellow and red.
Shopping centers are not authorized to issue alerts during an air raid alarm.
