Ukraine will finalize the document on security guarantees from the U.S. in the coming days
In the coming days, Ukraine will submit clarifications to the document on security guarantees from the United States in order to obtain clear answers to key questions.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to him, the main issue is determining the U.S. response in the event of new aggression by Russia.
Zelenskyy noted that following negotiations with the American side, there is still no certainty that Ukraine will receive everything it agreed upon.
At the same time, the parties agreed that Kyiv should finalize the document by clarifying its expectations regarding security guarantees.
On Wednesday, April 1, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held strategically important talks with key representatives of the U.S. administration—Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and Senator Lindsey Graham also joined the discussion.
As a reminder, the Kremlin has already rejected the idea of an Easter truce.
