Law enforcement officers have detained three men suspected of being involved in a shooting in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The "Wolves of Vinci" battalion has confirmed that members of the unit may have been involved in the incident.

This was reported by the regional police press service.

“In the Synelnykivskyi district, police detained a group of individuals suspected of a shooting and the abduction of a man,” the Telegram post states.

According to the investigation, the suspects were hiding in one of the neighboring settlements. Charges are being prepared against them under articles regarding hooliganism and unlawful deprivation of liberty.

Law enforcement officers established that three men, aged 38, 25, and 24, arrived at the store by car. At that moment, a female security guard and her acquaintance were inside the premises. The suspects got into a conflict with a 20-year-old man, which escalated into a fight. During the altercation, the suspects beat the victim.

The attackers then placed the unconscious man in a car and fired several shots from an automatic weapon toward the store building. The shooting damaged the facade and caused a fire. Afterward, the suspects fled the scene.

During initial investigative and operational measures, police located the victim, who was found unconscious. The man was hospitalized.

As a result of coordinated efforts by law enforcement officers from the Synelnykivsky District Police Department and staff of Police Station No. 3 of the Synelnykivsky District Police Department, the individuals involved in the crime were identified, their whereabouts were determined, and the suspects were detained in a neighboring town.

The police noted that the three men were detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The issue of notifying them of the charges is currently being decided. The investigation is ongoing.

As a reminder, in Kyiv near the “Respublika” shopping center, a man opened fire because another driver began to change lanes in front of him.

On May 1, law enforcement officers detained a man who opened fire on a car in the Svyatoshynsky district of Kyiv.
