Ukraine has repatriated a group of children and teenagers from the occupied part of the Kherson region

another group of children and teenagers to the region as part of the Ukrainian president’s “Bring Kids Back UA” initiative.

This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

Among those returned are six boys and one girl aged 3 to 17, as well as one adult who was previously a child deprived of parental care.

All of them were subjected to pressure and intimidation by the occupying authorities.

In particular, an 11-year-old girl was forced to participate in military events at school—she was bullied for refusing, which led to health problems.

A 17-year-old boy was deceived and taken to a so-called “camp,” where he was forced to sing the Russian national anthem. When he refused, he was threatened with isolation. After returning, he hid from patrols searching for teenagers to hand out draft notices.

Currently, all the returned children are safe.

As a reminder, an eight-year-old boy was killed and twelve others were injured in the Russian strike on Cherkasy on the evening of April 14.

A 12-year-old boy and a 35-year-old woman were killed in the attack on Kyiv on April 16.
