Ukraine and Germany have agreed to exchange military intelligence to develop new weapons

Ukraine and Germany have signed an agreement on the exchange of digital combat data for the development of new weapons systems.

The German chancellor

">made the announcement during a joint press conference with the Ukrainian president in Berlin.

According to him, the significance of this agreement cannot be overstated, as it opens up opportunities for the joint development of modern defense systems.

It is also noted that such cooperation will contribute to strengthening Europe’s defense independence.

This involves leveraging Ukraine’s combat experience and Germany’s technological capabilities to create new solutions in the field of armaments.

Ukraine and Germany signed two cooperation documents as part of intergovernmental consultations. The signing took place in the presence of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

As a reminder, Ukraine and Germany are preparing joint defense projects, including innovative technologies related to laser weapons. Discussions are scheduled to take place during the next meeting of the “Ramstein” format, where the parties plan to agree on new areas of cooperation in the fields of air defense and drone technologies.
