Ukraine and Germany will launch mass production of the Pro Lynx combat robots

The German company ARX Robotics and the Ukrainian company Roboneers have established a joint venture, ARX Industries, which will specialize in the mass production of ground-based robotic systems (GRS) for the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The new plant will produce “Lynx Pro” robotic platforms, which have already proven themselves as an effective tool for performing a wide range of tasks on the battlefield.

The joint venture ARX Industries will organize the production of URS at facilities in both Ukraine and Germany. The partnership is designed to meet the growing demand for robotic systems and support Ukraine’s ambitious goal of supplying 50,000 ground-based robotic systems to the military by 2026.

In its first year of operation, the company plans to manufacture thousands of robotic platforms and subsequently gradually increase production capacity to tens of thousands of units annually.

The “Lynx Pro” ground-based robotic systems will perform a wide range of combat and support missions.

Key tasks include:

  • evacuating the wounded from combat zones;
  • front-line logistics and cargo delivery;
  • transporting equipment for mine laying and demining;
  • conducting combat operations and supporting units on the front lines.

The use of such platforms reduces risks to military personnel and increases the efficiency of mission execution in hazardous areas.

ARX Industries will not only manufacture the robots but also provide maintenance and technical support for them.

The project is being implemented as part of the Build with Ukraine program with the support of the governments of Ukraine and Germany, underscoring the strategic nature of cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense technologies.

The establishment of ARX Industries will be an important step toward the development of Ukrainian military robotics and the strengthening of the Defense Forces’ technological capabilities in the context of modern warfare.

This was reported by the German company.

In addition, the British military is working on a new navigation system designed to reduce the vulnerability of military ships to Russian electronic warfare systems. The project aims to ensure more reliable positioning of the fleet in conditions of active GPS jamming.

The U.S. Marine Corps has launched a search for suppliers to develop innovative outerwear capable of concealing troops from modern sensors.
