The Ukrainian language has made its debut at the Astrid Lindgren Museum in Stockholm

The Junibacken Children's Museum in Stockholm has added Ukrainian to its interactive installation based on the works of Astrid Lindgren.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Institute in Sweden.

Ukrainian has become the 17th language of the “Fairy Tale Train”—one of the museum’s main attractions, which takes visitors on a journey through the world of the author’s characters.

The Ukrainian audio version was narrated by People’s Artist of Ukraine Ada Rogovtseva.

The initiative was implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Institute in Sweden to make the museum more accessible to Ukrainian children and families abroad and to strengthen the presence of the Ukrainian language in the world.

Junibacken is one of Sweden’s most popular children’s museums, where visitors embark on an interactive journey to meet Astrid Lindgren’s characters, including Karlsson and Pippi Longstocking.

In 2025, the pace of Ukrainianization of social media accelerated significantly, and compliance with language legislation in the online space is showing positive momentum.
