On August 4, Ukraine will experience a heat wave with temperatures reaching +38°
On Tuesday, August 4, dry and hot weather with no precipitation is expected in Ukraine. Daytime temperatures in most regions will range from +35 to +38°, while in the east and northeast, temperatures are forecast to be between +30 and +34°.
According to forecasters, nighttime temperatures will range from +18° to +23°, with variable winds at speeds of 3–8 m/s.
No precipitation is expected in Kyiv or the surrounding region either. In the capital, daytime temperatures will reach +35°, and in the Kyiv region, they will range from +35° to +37°.
In addition, an extreme fire danger level will persist across nearly all of Ukraine from August 4–6.
In the Kyiv region, the fire danger has risen sharply due to hot and dry weather. Over the past 24 hours, emergency responders were dispatched 31 times to extinguish fires in natural ecosystems.
