Ukrenergo has issued a forecast for power outages on August 4

No power outage schedules are planned for Ukraine on Tuesday, August 4.

According to a statement from NPC “Ukrenergo,” no restrictions on electricity consumption are expected for that day. Energy officials are urging Ukrainians to use electricity wisely and, whenever possible, to use high-power household appliances during the daytime—from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Due to the arrival of an abnormal heat wave, Ukraine may face a significant increase in electricity consumption as early as next week. According to forecasts, the load on the power grid could increase by approximately 1 gigawatt, creating the risk of a return to hourly power outage schedules.

On the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula, local residents report prolonged power outages, fuel shortages, rising prices, and problems with social infrastructure. According to them, the situation is particularly dire in the northern regions of the peninsula.
