Ukrenergo does not expect any power outages on Monday

On Monday, May 18, no rolling blackouts are expected in any region of Ukraine.

This information was posted on Ukrenergo’s official Facebook page.

Despite the stable situation in the country’s power grid, experts are urging citizens to use electricity responsibly.

Energy officials are asking for help in preventing grid overloads and distributing resources as efficiently as possible throughout the day. To this end, simple guidelines have been developed for using high-power household appliances.

“Tomorrow, Monday, no consumption restriction measures are planned,” the statement reads.

The company is urging consumers to shift energy-intensive activities to daytime hours—from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This step will significantly reduce the load on the system during traditional morning and evening peak hours.

The daytime period from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. is characterized by the highest activity of solar power plants. Thanks to this, the system has additional generation capacity, which should be used for household needs.

Shifting the operation of washing machines, water heaters, and other appliances to this time helps maintain balance.
