Ukrposhta has launched parcel lockers in four more regional capitals
On June 24, the national postal operator JSC “Ukrposhta” officially launched automated parcel pickup points in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, and Khmelnytskyi.
The network expansion is part of the company’s large-scale strategy aimed at accelerating and automating customer service nationwide.
The new digital service will significantly reduce the workload on standard brick-and-mortar branches and shorten the time it takes for thousands of citizens to receive their packages. Company management notes that the launch of the automated pickup points is being carried out in phases.
As a result, the logistics network is rapidly covering the largest residential areas in these cities.
Currently, Ukrposhta has already successfully installed 277 modern parcel lockers out of the 600 planned for the first phase of infrastructure modernization.
In addition to the four regional centers that have just been connected, the equipment is already actively operating in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, where 122 new-style branches are in operation.
A similar service has also become available to residents of Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and Kropyvnytskyi.
The company does not plan to stop there and is continuing its expansion into western Ukraine. As early as this week, specialized technical teams plan to begin a large-scale installation of postal kiosks in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk.
This will fully meet the basic needs of residents in large urban areas for fast and contactless delivery.
This was announced by the company’s CEO, Ihor Smilianskyi.
