Ukrzaliznytsia is launching a new route from Kyiv to Chisinau with a stop near the airport
Ukrzaliznytsia, in collaboration with Moldovan railway officials, is expanding international travel options and testing a new logistics route that will make it easier for passengers from Kyiv to reach Chisinau International Airport.
This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.
This involves extending the route of Train No. 351 Kyiv–Chisinau. The new stop will be Revaca Station, located near the main airport of Moldova’s capital.
The company notes that this decision should simplify travel for Ukrainians who currently actively use Chisinau Airport as one of their main aviation hubs.
“A free shuttle will be waiting for passengers at Revaca Station to take them directly to Chisinau International Airport,” the carrier notes.
This way, passengers will not need to look for a taxi or public transportation upon arrival.
The first test run on the updated route is scheduled for April 13, 2026. Based on the results, Ukrzaliznytsia and its Moldovan partners will decide whether to permanently include the Revaca stop on the route.
Ukrzaliznytsia has also announced schedule changes and additional trains for passengers. Some trains will begin running on a new schedule, and new stops will be added to the routes. This applies, in particular, to commuter services between the Kharkiv and Poltava regions.
Additionally, Ukrzaliznytsia has launched online sales of discounted student tickets.
