Umerov complained that someone was speaking to international partners on his behalf
Unknown individuals have recently been calling international partners and members of the diplomatic corps, claiming to be the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
Rustem Umerov reported this on social media on March 25. According to him, the perpetrators are calling from unknown numbers with various requests, attempting to obtain confidential information under the guise of official communication.
The NSDC Secretary emphasized that these messages have no connection to his personal or professional activities. Umerov urged colleagues and partners to practice information hygiene, carefully verify communication sources, and contact the NSDC Secretariat to verify any suspicious requests. Such provocations are viewed as attempts to destabilize Ukraine’s international cooperation amid ongoing aggression by the Russian Federation.
As a reminder, Russian pranksters called Merkel, posing as Poroshenko.
Also, well-known Putin-linked pranksters nicknamed Vovan and Lexus called Polish President Andrzej Duda, posing as French leader Emmanuel Macron.
